About the Asian Winter School

Since 2004, The Graduate University for Advanced Studies (SOKENDAI) has held the Asian Winter School to promote the development of students and young researchers in Asian countries by widely sharing the research and educational activities of its programs. The school hosted by the Institute for Molecular Science (Molecular Science Program) has welcomed many participants from across Asia.

This year, the program will feature two invited lectures: a lecture and hands-on session on applying AI and machine learning to chemical research, and a talk on research that begins with scientific curiosity and creates new sensing technologies and analytical instruments. Together they will introduce participants to the fundamentals, current advances, and future perspectives of molecular science. We look forward to your participation.
